Hi blog reading friends. I know you have been visiting Rêve Rouge every day, multiple times a day, hoping I will update you on the exciting things that are happening in my life. The thing is, I have been so busy with said exciting things, that I haven't prioritized my blog writing. I am so excited to do these other things.
So here's a quick rundown. I'm launching a new site. It's almost done. It is looking SO good, thanks to a couple wonderful people whose talents include making things look good. When the website launches, so does my new blog. Yes, new blog! After six years, I am retiring Rêve Rouge. I am excited about this site because I am finally growing up and grabbing a piece of real estate on the Internet to show off my work. Soon I won't be a copywriter with just a paper portfolio anymore. I'll have an Internet one. Hooray!
Also, I won this exciting new contest that is keeping me busy: 24 personal training sessions at my gym! So twice a week for three months (starting last week), I am getting my butt kicked by a personal trainer. To take full advantage of this awesome prize, I'm trying really hard to eat and exercise well outside of the personal training sessions. So that's a bit time consuming. But it's going to be great. It IS great. In exchange, I am writing one blog post a week for the West Loop Athletic Club Facebook page, so you can check there if you want to read words written by me.
